EGG EXPRESSIONS (WALKING ON EGGSHELLS): meaning and examples

Hello, readers! How's your week going? I hope you're enjoying the spring.

We are on our third day of Egg Expressions. Today we are learning the phrase WALKING ON EGGSHELLS

Definition: To be overly careful in dealing with a person or situation because they get angry or offended very easily; to try very hard not to upset someone or something.

Example 1: My brother's wife is a very difficult person. We always feel like we are walking on eggshells around her.

Example 2: When I first started my job, I was walking on eggshells trying not to make mistakes. Now I am more confident in my skills and am more comfortable in the office.

That's all for today. I hope you are not currently in a situation where you have to constantly walk on eggshells.

Thanks for reading!
