You might also see the phrase full-time to describe the opposite work situation.

Example 1: I worked for a very bad-tempered boss. It was a terrible work environment.
Example 2: My grandfather was bad-tempered. I remember him yelling once at Christmas. I'm so glad my father isn't like that!
