Hello, Daily Vitamin readers! And happy Tuesday to you.
Today we are continuing our theme of words/phrases from a TED Talk in our Ziggurat Activity Book II. This activity book focuses on three TED Talks, and this week's theme focuses on words or phrases from Matt Cutts' presentation "Try Something New for 30 Days."
Today's phrase is DESK-DWELLING
Definition: Someone who stays (dwells) at the desk or sits a lot and is inactive.
Example 1: I went from desk-dwelling computer nerd to the kind of guy who bikes to work.
Example 2: I could never have a desk-dwelling job. I need to be on my feet and moving.
Example 3: When I had a desk-dwelling job I had a lot less energy.
