ACTIVITY BOOK NO. 2: TO FLY BY
ACTIVITY BOOK NO. 2: TO FLY BY: meaning and examples
Good morning, Daily Vitamin readers! Welcome to another lesson.
Did you know that we provide Activity Books for you to study English at home? This week, we are looking at Ziggurat's Activity Book Volume II. It has lessons based on three different TED Talks.
You can download the Ebook here: https://info.ziggurat.es/6-charlas-inspiradoras-ted-para-aprender-ingles-volumen-2
This week's lessons will be based on words or phrases used in the TED Talk, "Try Something New for 30 Days" by Matt Cutts.
We are starting with the phrase: TO FLY BY
Definition: When time appears to be moving quickly.
Example 1: There are a few things I learned while doing these 30-day challenges. The first was, instead of the months flying by, forgotten, the time was much more memorable.
Example 2: I can't believe it's already April. This year is flying by.
Example 3: This vacation is flying by. I don't want it to end.
That's all for today's lesson. I hope you enjoy the rest of your Monday!
