ACTIVITY BOOK NUM. 1 VOCAB: SELF-DOUBTING: meaning and examples
Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin and another week of lessons!
This week's theme is Vocabulary from Ziggurat's Activity Book Number 1.
Did you know that we produce Activity Books for self-study? These useful materials help you improve your listening comprehension skills and expand your vocabulary. They also include exercises built around the listening activities.
This week's vocabulary comes from Activity Book 1 ("Six Inspiring TED Talks to Learn English").
Our first word is: SELF-DOUBTING
Definition: Lacking confidence in oneself and one's abilities; unconfident.
Example 1: Your self-doubting attitude is why you don't even try to look for a new job.
Example 2: Jaime's self-doubting resulted in years of being stuck in the same role at work.
Example 3: For this job, I need someone who is confident; we can't have a self-doubting person making such important decisions.
