ADJECTIVES FOR PERSONALITY TRAITS: OUT: meaning and examples
Good morning and happy Monday to you. I hope you had a great weekend. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin!
This week we are going to look at adjectives that we can use to talk about people's personalities. Today, we’re focusing on two adjectives for personality: OUTGOING and RESERVED.
Meaning Outgoing: this adjective describes someone who is sociable and enjoys being around other people.
Example 1: Olga is very outgoing; she makes friends wherever she goes.
Meaning Reserved: this adjective describes someone who is quiet and does not share their feelings easily.
Example 2: Mark is quite reserved, so he prefers listening rather than talking in groups.
👉 What about you? Are you more outgoing or reserved? I challenge you to post a sentence or two about yourself (using one or both of these adjectives) on one of our social media sites (Facebook or Twitter/X), and we will give you feedback about your sentences as soon as possible.
All the best!
