This week's third shop phrase is: all over the shop
Meaning 1: to be confused and disorganized.
Example 1: The market estimates made for the fourth quarter of 2023 were all over the shop. I couldn't make sense of them.
Meaning 2: to be happening in many different places; everywhere; all over the place.
Example 2: The current national government has set about building new railroad tracks all over the shop. You can now catch the high-speed train from any major city in the country.
