Today we continue our review of expressions with alone and related words. Yesterday we looked at the expression to leave / let someone alone and today we look at the expression to leave / let something alone.
Today's expression is: to leave / let something alone
Meaning: to stop touching, changing, or moving something.
Example 1:
David...I have told you a million times. Please leave her things alone!
Example 2:
Please leave that computer alone. I'm in the middle of something and would prefer you didn't touch it.
