Meaning: wanting something very much

Example 1:
We are anxious to go on holiday this summer. We will be in Boston, New York and Niagara Falls. It's going to be great.

Example 2:
My brother is anxious to finish school and get a job.

Example 3:
Due to the crisis, there are plenty of unemployed people anxious for work.
