Today's expression is: A work of art
Definition: an object made by an artist of great skill, especially a painting, drawing, or statue. But it can also refer to something that is attractive and skilfully made, that is not traditionally considered "art," and that you wouldn't find in a museum.
Example 1: The wedding cake was a real work of art.
Example 2: The couple didn't realize that the paining they bought at the second-hand store was a work of art from the 18th century worth hundreds of thousands of euros.
