BACK TO FRONT
BACK TO FRONT: meaning and examples
Yesterday we explained the term inside out when referring to wearing clothes. Let's look at a similar expression today.
Today's expression is: back to front
It means: the reverse; when something that usually faces the front is now facing the back.
Example 1:
Sally: I think you've got your dress on back to front.
Julia: Really? I don't think so. These pockets should be at the front, shouldn't they?
Sally: No, I think you are definitely wearing it back to front. Why don't you go and change?
Example 2:
If you are not sure if you are wearing that T-shirt back to front, you can always look at the tag. It should be at the back of your neck.
Have a wonderful day!
