CHANGE-7
CHANGE-7: meaning and examples
In today's Daily Vitamin we continue with our series of lessons about expressions with the word CHANGE.
Today's expression is: to change back (into something), when referring to clothes
Meaning: to take off your clothes and put on what you were wearing earlier.
Example 1:
After lunch, she changed back into her clothes for work.
Example 2:
Jim: Where's Mike? Isn't he ready yet?
Lisa: Are you kidding? He's changed his clothes about 5 times already. He just told me he was going to change back into his double-breasted suit, which he wore to work today. If he had just left that suit on we'd already be at the party by now.
Have a great day!
