CHRISTMAS VOCABULARY: CANDY CANE

Happy Friday to our Daily Vitamin readers! Today we are completing our week of Christmas Vocabulary with the words CANDY CANE. Do you know what this famous Christmas image is?

Definition: a red and white striped candy (often flavoured with peppermint) that is in the shape of a hook at one end.

Example 1: The man dressed like Santa and gave the children candy canes.

Example 2: After Christmas, it seems like we eat candy canes for a month.

This is our last lesson of the week, but also of the year; we will take a holiday break until January. The first Daily Vitamin in 2018 will be January 8th.
