Welcome back, everyone! How's your week going?

Are you ready for another lesson in this week's theme of Cooking Vocabulary? We are learning expression related to cooking or food. Today we are looking at the expression TOO MANY COOKS IN THE KITCHEN.

Definition: A situation when too many people try to control, influence, or work on something, with the quality of the final product suffering as a result.

Example 1: I understand that we need the marketing team to help us with this project, but now we have the legal team, the marketing team, and the administrators all working on this; we have too many cooks in the kitchen.

Example 2: I'll be preparing the food for the party, and I'm hosting it at my house. It's a lot of work, but it's better than having too many cooks in the kitchen.

You will also hear other versions, such as too many cooks spoil the stew or too many cooks spoil the broth.

Have you ever been in this situation? I think we all have. I hope this is a useful expression for you.
