EAT OUT / GO OUT (ROUTINES WITH PHRASA: meaning and examples

Hello again everyone. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin! I hope you're having a great day.

Today we present another lesson about daily routines, while revising a couple of common English phrasal verbs that we often use when we speak about routines.

Today's first phrasal verb for routines is: to eat out

Meaning: to eat at a restaurant instead of at home.

Example: My wife and I like to eat out on Saturday night. We try to eat out once per week.

Today's second phrasal verb for routines isto go out.

Meaning: to leave your home for social activities.

Example: When I was at University, I used to go out with friends almost every Friday night.

How is your social life? Do you eat out or go out often with friends or family? For some practice, I encourage you to write your answer(s) to my questions on one of our social media sites (Facebook or Twitter/X) and we will give you feedback ASAP.

Enjoy the rest of your day and we'll be back with another Daily Vitamin about phrasal verbs for daily routines.

All the best!
