ECO-FRIENDLY WORDS (COMPOSTE)

Happy Friday everyone! Welcome to the last Daily Vitamin lesson of the week. I hope everyone is doing well. 

Today we continue our look at "eco-friendly words;" that is, words often used when talking about environmental and ecological topics.

Today's eco-friendly word is: Compost

Definition: organic matter, especially kitchen waste, that can be made into compost, which is decaying plant material that is added to soil to improve its quality.  

Example 1: In our home we always separate plant waste from other waste and create compost, which we then use to fertilize our garden.  

Example 2: Many cities have begun to collect and separate organic waste from other rubbish and create compost that is used as fertilizer in the different gardens around the city.
