ECO-FRIENDLY WORDS (ECO-FRIENDLY)

Good morning / afternoon / evening everyone. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin. I hope everyone had an excellent weekend. 

This week we are going to look at "eco-friendly words;" that is, words often used when talking about environmental and ecological topics.

We start the week off with the most obvious choice. The expression Eco-friendly.

Definition: products, actions and services that are not harmful to the environment. Eco-friendly products have been designed to do the least possible damage to the environment.

Example 1: I am happy that consumers are more and more interested in buying eco-friendly products and services.  

Example 2: Spain has begun to promote more eco-friendly tourism. It's good for the environment, and it's good for the economy.

Do you follow any eco-friendly habits? It could be products you buy, actions you take (such as using less water) or services that you use that attempt to do the least damage to the environment. Let us know, on one of our social media sites (Facebook or Twitter), as it might give someone else a good idea to follow in the future. The more of us that follow eco-friendly practices, the better for the environment.
