EGG EXPRESSIONS (TOUGH EGG TO CRACK)

Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin everyone. I hope you are having a good week. 

As you know, this week we are looking at expressions with the word EGG in them.

Today's EGG expression is: A tough egg to crack

Definition: a person, thing, situation, or problem that is particularly difficult to understand, solve, or deal with.

Example 1: Olga has been married to her husband for almost 25 years, and she still thinks he is a tough egg to crack.   

Example 2: They interrogated the criminal for more than an hour; it's clear that he's a tough egg to crack; I don't know if they'll get any information out of him.
