EXPRESSIONS WITH CLOTHING: TO WEAR ONE'S HEART ON ONE'S SLEEVE: meaning and examples
Welcome back, Daily Vitamin readers!
Today is our second day of our Expressions-with-Clothing week and we are learning the expression: TO WEAR ONE'S HEART ON ONE'S SLEEVE.
A SLEEVE is the part of a shirt that covers your arms. We had a lesson about this word back in November of 2012. You can review it at the following link:

Definition of Today's Idiom: To show one's emotions openly, rather than keeping them private.
Example 1: He wears his heart on his sleeve, which is what I love about him. But sometimes he gets hurt.
Example 2: Most CEOs don't wear their heart on their sleeves... but ours does. He's well respected by our company's employees for his emotional honesty.
That's all for today. Have a great day!
