Today's expression is: HIGH END
Meaning 1: an expensive, exclusive or luxury item, product or service. This expression is used more in conversation or informally.
Example 1:
That company sells high end accessories for women, like designer handbags, scarves and jewellery.
Meaning 2: to be at the maximum value on a scale.
Example 2:
His results on the university entrance level test were on the high end so he was offered a place at the best universities in the country.
Remember that tomorrow we present the Essential Weekly Vitamin for Spanish-speaking students of English; and then, of course, it will be the weekEND!
Have a wonderful day!
