Welcome back, readers! Today we are looking at our second Expression with May. Today's expression is TRY AS I MAY.
Definition: An expression meaning that even with a lot of effort, a goal cannot be achieved.
Example 1: Try as I may, I can't seem to learn how to dance.
Example 2: Try as I may, I don't think I'll ever be able to cook as well as my mother.
We also say try as I might.
