EXPRESSIONS WITH ‘NEW’ (BRAND NEW)

Hello everyone. Happy New Year! I honestly hope the beginning of 2022 has gone very well for you.

Since it is the beginning of a new year, this week we are going to look at expressions with the word NEW in them. 

Today's expression is: Brand new

Definition: completely new, especially something new that has not been used yet. 

Example 1: I was surprised that he had enough money to buy himself a brand new car. Where did he get the money?

You can also see the expression written as one word, with a hyphen: brand-new

Example 2: It's a brand-new recipe, and I've never tried it before.
