EXPRESSIONS WITH 'SAND': TO DRAW A LINE IN THE SANDâ 

Welcome back, everyone!

With today's lesson, we are completing our week of Expressions with the word SAND.

We will end this academic year of Daily Vitamin lessons with the expression TO DRAW A LINE IN THE SAND. 

Definition: To create a real or artificial boundary that no one can cross... unless they want trouble or conflict. 

Example 1: When we were young, my mom said she would happily do our laundry, but she drew a line in the sand when it came to making our beds. 

Example 2: I like a lot of foods, but I draw a line in the sand when it comes to eating tripe and other organs. They are just disgusting to me.
