EXPRESSIONS WITH SPRING (SPRING TO MIND)

Welcome, everyone, to our last lesson of the week! Today we finalise our week of expressions with SPRING by looking at the expression TO SPRING TO MIND. 

Definition: To have a thought occur to someone. To come to mind.

Example 1: I'm not sure what we should do for my birthday. Nothing springs to mind. 

Example 2: When I say "vacation," what springs to mind?

Example 3: I wanted to provide some suggestions, but nothing sprung to mind during the meeting.
