FALL-2: meaning and examples

Hello everyone. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin

Last Friday we began a series of Daily Vitamins that will look at uses of the verb to fall. So far we've looked at the expressions to fall in love and to fall for something. Today we will look at a more common use of FALL, which does not form an expression or a phrasal verb.

Today's meaning is: to reduce the amount, level or value of something.

Example 1

Example 2

Example 3
