FIND-3: meaning and examples

Good morning everyone.

Today we continue our series of Daily Vitamins about expressions with the English word FIND.

Today's find expression is: to find out about something/someone OR to find out something about someone/something

Meaning: to get some information about something or someone by asking, reading, researching, etc.

Example 1:
She has been dating that boy for months, but for some reason she doesn't want her parent's to find out.

Example 2:
Janet. Can you please call the boss and find out what time the meeting starts?
