Welcome back to our Gerund vs. Infinitive Challenge, everyone! Are you ready for today's sentences?

Here are your two sentences, with the verb TO FORGET.

Sentence 1: I forgot to call Marie. 

Sentence 2: I forgot calling Marie. 

One of these sentences means that the person never called Marie. 

Is it sentence 1 or sentence 2? Once you've identified which sentence means that the person never called Marie, tell us what the other sentence means?
