HOMONYMS (FAIR): meaning and examples

Today we are continuing our theme of Homonyms with the word FAIR. Remember: homonyms are words that have the same spelling or pronunciation but have different meanings.
Definition 1: Equitable (equal parts).
Example 1: I'll cut the pie and you can choose the slice. Is that fair?
Example 2: My ticket for speeding was not that expensive, surprisingly. It was a fair fine.
Definition 2: Beautiful (often used in older English texts).
Example 3: What a fair lady your grandmother was!
Definition 3: Light in colour.
Example 4: She has such fair skin; she always has to wear sunscreen.
