Definition: Good at thinking of new and original ideas. 

Example 1: We are looking to hire someone new. He or she should be energetic, inventive, and motivated. 

Example 2: We need an inventive solution to our problem with on-time-delivery.

Example 3: Thanks to Mary's inventive marketing strategy, we improved sales by 18% last quarter.
