I SHARE YOUR OPINION
I SHARE YOUR OPINION: meaning and examples
Hello again everyone and welcome back to the Daily Vitamin. I hope you had a great weekend and I hope your week has started off in a positive manner.
Today we look at three final phrases and expressions used to agree with people.
The objective of giving you all of these different phrases over the last week is to motivate you to be more creative when you speak and write English. I hope you will incorporate some of these phrases into your daily English interactions.
Today we look at...
⇒ I share your opinion.
⇒ I'm of the same mind.
⇒ I'm in accord with that.
Example 1:
Andrew: I don't think we should expand into Latin America, but rather focus on Western Europe.
Liz: I share your opinion. It's less risky and it would be much cheaper to initiate.
Example 2:
Jennifer: Instead of having English class twice per week, I prefer to have one day of class and find time, during the week, to practice English between each class.
Chris: I'm of the same mind. Class is great because we get guidance and motivation, but the most efficient way to learn is through our self-study.
Example 3:
Despite our initial differences, we eventually found common ground, and I'm in accord with the revised sales plan.
Can you create your own sentence with one or more of these expressions? You can post your sentence(s) on one of our social media sites (Facebook or Twitter/X) and we will give you feedback as soon as we can.
We'll be back tomorrow with another lesson, and a new topic.
All the best!
