Today's idiom is: Ice cold
Definition: extremely cold.
Example 1: After walking outside in below freezing temperatures, her hands were ice cold.
Example 2: After exercising, I always love to drink an ice-cold glass of water.
We can also use the expression ice cold in an informal (slang) manner to describe someone who doesn't show their emotions often and/or they are not friendly.
Example 3: My boyfriend Jack barely acknowledged me when I waved to him from the bus. Sometimes he can be ice cold.
