IDIOMS WITH 'JOB': AN UPHILL JOB

Good morning, and welcome to another Daily Vitamin lesson. Our theme for the week is Idioms with the word JOB and today we are focusing on the expression AN UPHILL JOB.

Definition: A task that is difficult from the beginning and continues to be difficult. 

Example 1: It's going to be an uphill job to expand our business, but I think it will be worth it if we can get the permits we need. 

Example 2: They tried to open another store in the city next to us, but failed. It was an uphill job from the start.
