We are starting off with the phrase: TO BE IN SHORT SUPPLY

Definition: Only available in small amounts.

Example 1: We all remember when toilet paper was in short supply during the beginning of the pandemic. 

Example 2: Sometimes it seems like kind people are in short supply

Example 3: I wanted to make a pistachio cake, but it appears that pistachios are in short supply because we had a poor harvest last year.
