IDIOMS WITH 'SPELL': BE UNDER (SOMEONE’S) SPELL

Good morning and welcome to another Daily Vitamin lesson. 

This week our theme is Idioms with the word SPELL. Today we are focusing on the phrase TO BE UNDER (SOMEONE'S) SPELL.

Definition: To not be fully in control of one's thoughts or actions; to be controlled by someone or something else because the other person/thing seems magical. 

Example 1: As soon as she met her boyfriend, she changed. It's like she's under his spell. 

Example 2: I'm under her spell. I'll do anything she wants.
