I'M ON THE SAME PAGE

Hello again everyone. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin. I hope your week is going well. 

As you know, for the rest of this week (and Monday), we are going to look at different phrases and expressions used to agree with people. 

Yesterday we looked at I agree, That's True and You're right. Today we look at...

⇒ I'm on the same page.
⇒ I couldn't agree more.

Example 1:
Alicia: Look, Mike... we need to finish this marketing plan by the end of the day or the whole campaign will be delayed. 
Mike: Don't worry... I'm on the same page. I'm working as fast as I can and we will have it done in about one hour.
Alicia: That's great news! Thanks. 

Example 2:
John: I think we should cancel the company Christmas party because a lot of people are ill with the flu. We can do the party sometime in January. 
Olga: I couldn't agree more. Great idea! If we wait until this 'mini-epidemic' passes, more people will be able to attend.
