I'M WITH YOU: meaning and examples

Good morning / afternoon / evening everyone, depending on when you are reading this. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin. I hope you are having a good day, and I also hope that your week is going well.

Today we continue our look at different phrases and expressions we use to agree with people

Today we look at the following options:

I'm with you.
Absolutely.
Definitely.

Example 1:
Maria: I feel like the new holiday protocol created by the CEO is a bit unfair. I think people who have been working here the longest should have priority.
Janet: I'm with you. The new protocol is fine, but only if you give priority to the employees with the most tenure.

Example 2:
Isabel: Do you agree with me about salary increases in 2024?
Eric: Absolutely! We can start the increase in April, but include back pay from January through March in the April paycheque.

Example 3:
Lisa: Perhaps our best option is to continue with the current provider for now and make the change in January of 2025.
Matt: Definitely! I agree. That will make the transition much less disruptive.

Can you create your own sentence with one or more of these expressions? You can post your sentence(s) on one of our social media sites (Facebook or Twitter/X) and we will give you feedback as soon as possible.

Have a wonderful day!
