IMAGE AND DRESS (DRESS UP)

This week we will be looking at words and expressions related to our image and how we dress.

The first expression of the week is a phrasal verb: TO DRESS UP

Definition: to put on formal clothes for a special occasion.

Sentence 1: You don't need to dress up for the party tonight. I will be very informal.

Sentence 2: I love going to weddings, because I love to dress up and look my best.
