IMAGE AND DRESS (TO BE THE SPITTING IMAGE OF SOMEONE)

Hello everyone. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin. I hope you are doing well. 

Today we continue our look at words and expressions related to our image and how we dress.

The third expression of the week is the expression: TO BE THE SPITTING IMAGE OF SOMEONE

Definition: to look extremely similar to someone.

Sentence 1: Craig is the spitting image of his father. Sometimes when I see him I mistake him for his father.

Sentence 2: Hillary is the spitting image of her grandmother. when her grandmother was the same age. It's incredible how similar they are.
