INSIDE OUT: meaning and examples

Good morning everyone!

Today's expression is: inside out

It means
: to be reversed; when the inner part of something faces out, for example, for clothing.

Example 1:
Mother: Danny. You are wearing your socks inside out. Please take them off and turn them the right side out again.
Danny: Oh, mum! Must I? Nobody will even see them if I'm wearing my shoes!

Example 2:
I put my T-shirt on inside out yesterday and I didn't realize it until the afternoon. How embarrassing!
