Hello again everyone. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin and our last lesson of the week, and our last inspiring quote of the week.

Today's quote is true not just for learning English, but it's true in every area of your life.

Failing does not make you a failure. You only really fail if you quit. And I think a lot of English students get discouraged when they "fail" and lose all hope of ever learning English and they often quit. They feel like failures because they haven't reached the level they desire after many years of study; they feel embarrassed when they can't understand English speakers or when they speak with a "bad" accent or with lots of grammatical "errors." But the only way to get better at English is to keep on trying and to keep on failing. When you're learning a language, you literally have to fail your way to success. Failing (i.e., not being perfect) is part of the process. The sooner you accept this fact, the faster you will learn. When you realize and accept that failure is part of the process, it's easier not to lose the enthusiasm that Mr. Churchill was referring to.
