Our theme this week is Knowledge-Related Vocabulary. Today's word is ERUDITE.

Definition: Having or showing knowledge about something most people know little about. 

Example 1: We had an erudite conversation about politics. 

Example 2: She spent months in the Costa Rican jungle and then published an erudite book about the local insect populations.

Example 3: The biggest problem with marrying an erudite linguist is that he's always correcting my grammar!
