LAUGH-3: meaning and examples

Good morning everyone.

Today we continue with our series of Daily Vitamins that look at different expressions with the English word LAUGH.

Today's expression is: to laugh in someone's face

Meaning: to show in a very obvious way that you have no respect for someone. It may mean actually laughing at them, or doing other things that show lack of respect.

Example 1:
It is very impolite to laugh in someone's face!

Example 2:
After I heard what she had to say, I just laughed in her face.
