LEVEL-HEADED (PERSONALITY TRAITS): meaning and examples

Today we continue with our look at adjectives to describe personality traits.

Today’s two adjectives are COURAGEOUS and LEVEL-HEADED.

Meaning Courageous: this adjective means being brave in difficult, challenging or dangerous situations.

Example 1: The firefighter was very courageous; he ran into the burning building to save the lives of people and their pets.

Meaning Level-headed: this adjective describes someone who stays calm and makes good decisions under pressure.

Example 2: The CEO remained level-headed during the emergency at the office, and she solved the problem very quickly.
