LIVE vs. LIFE: meaning and examples
Today we have two more words with similar and often-confused spellings.
LIVE (verb, adverb): to exist
LIFE (singular noun): existence; the state between birth and death. (NOTE: the plural of life is lives)
Example 1:
We all live in the same neighbourhood.
Example 2:
Human beings only have one life, but in English there is a saying that cats have nine lives.
Example 3:
It's my life so please don't tell me how to live it.
