Good morning!

Today's word is
: lousy (colloquial; more common in American English)

Meaning: very bad or of poor quality.

NOTE: The word lousy comes from the word louse (piojo).

Example 1:
Dana: How was your day, Stephen?
Stephen: Lousy. My car broke down. I was late for my first appointment. We lost a major client. Honestly, I can't wait for today to be over!
Dana: Oh dear! That does sound pretty bad!

Example 2:
I don't recommend that restaurant. Both the food and the service are lousy.

I hope you have a great day, and not a lousy one!
