MILLENNIAL SLANG (SALTY)

Welcome back, everyone! I hope your week is going well. 

Today we continue with our "Millennial" Slang theme.

Today we are looking at the word SALTY. No, with this slang version of this word we do not mean to describe something that has too much salt; in slang, SALTY means something else entirely. 

Definition: When someone is mean or upset, usually over something unimportant.

Example 1: Why are you being so salty today? Did something happen?

Example 2: After she found out that she didn’t get the job, she acted salty all day. 

Example 3: My brother is always salty after his basketball team loses.
