MOTIVATED-DEADLINE --> JOB INTERVIEW
MOTIVATED-DEADLINE --> JOB INTERVIEW: meaning and examples
Hello everyone. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin. I can't believe it's already Friday. I hope all of you had a great week.
Today we look at two final words that are typically used in a job interview. Of course, what is said in a job interview depends on the position, the person being interviewed and the person doing the interview; but it's good to be ready to speak about certain things.
For example, in job interviews, you may be asked whether you are motivated and how well you are at meeting deadlines.
Meaning motivated: used to describe someone who has a strong reason to act or accomplish something.
Example 1:
Interviewer: Do you consider yourself a motivated person?
Candidate: I am highly motivated and I know that I can contribute positively to your company's growth.
Meaning deadline: the specific time or date by which a task must be finished.
Example 2: I am very efficient at meeting deadlines.
Example 3: Look, if you hire me you will be adding a very motivated person to your staff who has the ability to meet the tight deadlines that you so often have to meet in your sector.
How about you? Are you a motivated person? And are you good at meeting deadlines, or do you procrastinate a lot? Give us some more information (in English) on one of our social media sites (Facebook or Twitter/X) and we will give you feedback about your writing as soon as possible.
Enjoy the rest of your day and have an excellent weekend. We'll see you back here on Monday with another lesson.
All the best!
