NEITHER HERE NOR THERE
NEITHER HERE NOR THERE: meaning and examples
Good morning. I hope everybody had a good weekend.
Last Friday we received the following query:
I would like to know the meaning of the idiom "neither here nor there" because I've been hearing it recently and I couldn't work it out by myself. Thank you very much. (Carina S.)
Today's expression is: Neither here nor there
It is used: to say that something does not matter because it is not relevant to the situation or context.
Example 1:
Whether or not I agree with you is neither here not there. You have to do what you feel is right.
Example 2:
Whether we take the train or drive is neither here nor there, as far as I'm concerned. I just want to get there!
