NEW ENGLISH WORDS (CO-PARENT): meaning and examples

This week we are learning some new English words. These are words that were recently added to the dictionary. Today's word is the verb TO CO-PARENT.
Definition: To raise children together after a separation or divorce.
Example 1: It's difficult to co-parent with Michael now that he lives in another city.
Example 2: We try to co-parent as best as we can. Our children are our number-one priority.
Example 3: The first year of co-parenting was hard; but with respect and communication we have been able to successfully co-parent.
This word was added to the Oxford English dictionary in January of 2018.
