Today we finish our look at expressions with the English pronoun NOTHING.
Today's expression is: nothing much
Meaning: not a great amount of something; nothing of great value or importance.
Example 1:
Jack: What are we having for dinner?
Lisa: I don't know. There's nothing much in the fridge. Maybe we should go out to eat.
Example 2:
Erik: Hello Leslie. How are you? What have you been up to?
Leslie: Nothing much. I've been working for my father's company and hope to apply to graduate school soon.
